Shawn Kilmurray

Shawn specializes in providing strategic guidance and counsel to a variety of talent and corporate clients in music, film, TV, new media, and concert promotion.  

 

A native of San Francisco, California, Shawn proudly served in the U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (Seabees) before pursuing a career in the music business. Shawn spent over 15 years, as an executive with major record companies: Sony,Universal & Warner Music Groups, and had the great pleasure of working on numerous global superstar recording projects.

 

He is a voting member of The Recording Academy(Grammy Awards), Latin Grammy Awards, Songwriters Hall of Fame, Americana MusicAssociation, and the Museum of Popular Music. Shawn is also a member of the New York State Society of CPAs, serving onthe Arts, Sports & Entertainment Committee; as well as serving on the EastCoast Board of Governors for the TJ Martell Foundation, as well as serving onthe Board of Directors for the Seatuck Environmental Association.

 

Shawn and his wife Ali reside in East Islip, NY, with their two children, Caleigh and Drew. They are very active in their local community, providing leadership and support to the Girl Scouts, as well as Youth football, basketball, volleyball and lacrosse leagues.  

 

Away from the office, Shawn is an avid music and sports fan; and has a great passion for the outdoors. He enjoys travel, golf, backpacking, and live music, as often as possible.
