With a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing under her sleeves, Anita arrived in New York City from the Philippines, shortly thereafter, she took an Associate degree in Accounting at Baruch College, which eventually led to doing accounting & credit analysis work for Hambro/ M&T Bank for nine years.
In 1980, Anita joined METLIFE, with a simple philosophy that you want to treat your clients the way you want to be treated. Giving importance to what the client needs and earning their trust through educating them and teaching them on how to protect every asset they gain.
First year into the business, she became Rookie of the Year in her Region. She also held the branch manager position for the Canal Branch, NY in 1989. Having almost 3,000 plus clients to date, and recipient of numerous commendations and member to the some of the most prestigious groups in the industry- like the President John Creeton Award 1988, Life Member of Chairman Council 1990, and Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) 1990, all of which are tributes to the high level of competence, consistency, and sales achievement she has displayed through the years. Topping the list would be her induction as the first female awardee to Metropolitan’s Hall of Fame in 1998.
She is currently a Financial Adviser & Registered Representative for Fortis Lux Financial.
