Felix grew up in suburban Connecticut, where he developed astrong work ethic and competitive spirit through athletics. He later earned abachelor’s degree in History and Economics from the University of Connecticut, a foundation that shaped both his analytical mindset and his appreciation forlong term perspective. He entered the financial services industry in 2002,where his ability to develop people and build teams led to senior leadershiproles at American Express Financial Advisors and MetLife. Those experiencesultimately led him to found Fortis Lux Financial.

A combat veteran, Felix believes leadership is rooted inservice, accountability, and trust.
