Gary Javier started his career in the financial industry with New York Life in Dec of 1991. Gary was on the field for the first ten years, he gained experiences and learned a full aspect of the financial services from insurance, employee benefits, investment, risk management and asset protection. In 2001, Gary was asked to be a partner for NYL, where he would recruit, train and develop talented individuals for a career in financial service. However, Gary enjoyed interacting with his clients and helping more individual families to achieve their financial goals, he decided to go back on the field after five years. After his 20th year of service with NYL, Gary joined Fortis Lux Financial where he was able to maintain his practice while having the ability to recruit train and develop talented individuals.
Gary was born in the Philippines and came to the US, Brooklyn NY, at the age of 5. Right after high school, he joined the US Air Force as a medical specialist. After two years of active duty, he went on Air Force reserves, worked as a surgical tech in the hospital and went to college at the same time. First, he attended Long Island University and Hunter College and graduated with Bachelor’s degree. Gary was planning to pursue medical school after graduating, he deployed to the 1st Persian Gulf War. He realized that he is passionate about helping people and enjoy engaging with clients in all the different nationalities.
Gary enjoys spending time with my family. He loves sports, especially basketball. He is a license basketball coach and certified official. He involved with various sports organizations, associations and Philippine basketball organizations.
