Thomas J. Picone’s vision for the delivery of highly personalized financial advice continues to propel the growth of his firm and expand its impact on clients.

After spending twenty years leading the successful wealth management firm Picone Capital, LLC, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company tapped Tom to serve as President and CEO of MassMutual Westchester.

MassMutual charged Tom with taking his unique, holistic and custom-based approach to financial advice and making it a model for the agency. Tom met the challenge by bringing in and developing like-minded financial professionals who share his commitment and passion for helping clients achieve long-term financial stability and growth.

To further expand his business model and leverage his exemplary leadership skills, MassMutual Westchester merged with Fortis Lux Financial in July 2018, creating a powerhouse in the financial services industry. As Chief Executive Officer of the merged organization, Tom provides the team with the leadership, motivation, and resources needed to provide comprehensive financial services which exceed client expectations.

A recognized leader in holistic financial planning and motivating financial professionals to work collectively to help clients achieve their goals, Tom is a sought-after motivational speaker. While he shares his expertise and gives back of his time and talents to better the industry, he also keeps his finger firmly on the pulse of the local business landscape. He prides himself on his reputation as a leader in the business community, and on the personal and professional relationships he has cultivated over his thirty-plus year career. Tom also supports several local not-for-profit organizations and is frequently called upon to help in fundraising activities.

Born and raised in the tri-state area, Tom lives in Westchester County with his wife, Heidi and their two sons. He graduated from St. John’s University and received his CLU from The American College.
